In the Library, I will be able to:

o locate book resources (fiction, non-fiction, or reference) using the Internet Public Access Catalogue (iPAC)

o locate and access electronic resources (e-books or databases) using the Virtual Library

o access valid Internet sources using effective searching techniques antietam.jpg

o assess the validity and appropriateness of Internet sources

o locate information in a reference book using an index

o define and explain how to avoid plagiarism


o acknowledge sources using a source recording sheet



o take effective research notes by using a chart, graphic organizer or note card



o apply the Four Phases of the Inquiry Process
